  Latest rumor - all WT construction "suspended", except for Warwick

  heard 4th-hand, but from a full-on believer, so not likely to be an "apostate lie":.

  apparently, at bethel's morning worship this morning, it was announced that all worldwide wts construction is "suspended" for an indefinite time, except for the new world headquarters at warwick.. also, the "relocation" of remote translating teams is also suspended.. finally, there will be a "worldwide" reduction in bethel personnel.. all this came to me in a non-english language, and,as noted, 4th-hand.

  so it is possible something may have been lost in translation and/or in the multiple steps between bethel morning worship & me.. but if true, it would be quite stunning.

  It was only a short time ago that they were begging for money for Construction of all the K.H's that are "needed".

  They also stole the money Congregations had in their Banks.

  If true, this is the most blatantly open Rip Off they have ever done !

  I was thinking the same thing, what is one of my old kingdom halls going say now, especially when they took away their money "Twice"

  it is indicated that the org is slowing down on preaching and focusing more on construction. Now, supposedly, they're halting construction and focusing on preaching. Why such a rapid, abrupt change?

  I know for a fact that CO’s and Former DO’s were in the dark just like every other JDub.

  One minute all the anointed on earth is the Faithful and Discreet Slave, the next minute only 7 men are the faithful and discreet slave.

  One minute you can’t take “ANY” Blood, the next minute you can take all kinds of blood fractions.

  I did a little 'research' and found an interesting article "This Is Our Place of Worship", and the section "Providing and Financing Kingdom Halls TM", seems to confirm what you are saying. Here's just a smidgeon.

  Imho it would be no different that when the bookstudy as a separate meeting night was cancelled. Most dubs were very happy that they had another free night... If the dubs were relieved of the door to door work they'd be happy to comply.

  I agree Listener, if I was still in and this change took place, I would celebrate and I wouldn't mind giving a few bucks$$$$ instead of going door to door.

  You know, I would have liked to have met Jesus and ask him some direct questions like;

  "Is there life after death" and when will that take place?"

  But knowing what I know, He probably would have answered me like this;

  "Look at the lilies of the field that feed the birds, if you have the faith of a worm, the butterfly will come!"

  Wtbts fears bancruptcy and has pulled in marketing professionals (in fact professionals generally)who have told them they are wasting their manhours with unsuitable (ie shy etc)folk going d2d when their time/resources could be more profitably spent volunteering in other ways

  I believe that is exactly what is happening. Marketing professionals are the ones directing the WT work----NOT GOD
